Dr. Tamara Gajié is a Senior Research Associate at the Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijic," Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade. In addition to her role as a researcher, Tamara Gajic serves as an associate professor at the Faculty of Hotel Manegement and Tourism, located in Vrnjacka Banja, a part of the esteemed University of Kragujevac in Serbia. Her extensive academic and research journey has included a significant tenure as a senior research associate with the Department of Tourism and Socio-Cultural Service at the Institute for Sport, Tourism, and Service.

Her collaborative work extended beyond borders, as she contributed her expertise to South Ural State University until 2022, in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Dr. Gajie's diverse areas of expertise encompass geography, tourism, hotel management, service quality in the tourism industry, hospitality, and gastronomy. She has made significant contributions to human resource management, rural and agrotourism development, as well as sustainable development initiatives in both urban and rural settings. Her deep insights into management within the gastronomy sector and food quality have enriched her academic and professional portfolio. Dr. Gajic's dedication to advancing knowledge is reflected in her prolific publication record, with numerous scholarly papers published in renowned international journals. She has also actively participated in a multitude of international conferences and has been a valuable contributor to several research projects within Serbia. Her editorial prowess is evident in her role as a guest editor for highly regarded journals indexed in SCOPUS and the Web of Science, Committed to enhancing the academic landscape, Dr. Gajic generously shares her expertise as a member of the Special Expert Commission within the Agency for Qualifications, under the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Since 2016, she has been an member of the Development Center of the Russian Geographical Society in Serbia, further demonstrating her dedication to the field of geography and its related disciplines.
